Exxaro is committed to supporting Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) through a structured programme aimed at enhancing their readiness for business opportunities. In preparation for the Pitch for Funding competition, Exxaro arranged four key sessions: the Supplier Readiness Masterclass, the Open Day, the Pitch for Funding Masterclass, and the Pitch for Funding Competition itself.
These sessions equipped participating suppliers with the essential skills and tools to successfully compete for tenders and grow their businesses. During the final session, suppliers will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas and stand a chance to win prizes that will support the growth and sustainability of their enterprises.
Following the competition, the three winners will participate in targeted workshops to maximise the benefits of their prizes, receiving further training on how to implement them effectively.
The final session will bring together key stakeholders, including Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDFA), Emakhazeni Local Municipality, and other partners, underscoring Exxaro’s collaborative approach to fostering small business development.
